Artist Bio

[Duskin Wayne] is an award-winning professional MN Artist whose paintings are as BOLD as his endless collection of colorful top hats and glasses. His self-declared purpose is to bring enrichment to the lives of others by providing meaningful art and art experiences to the community.

He has a demonstrated art career history as a Fine Artist, licensed Cosmetologist, Makeup Artist, Costume Designer, licensed Body Arts Technician (Tattoo Artist), Photographer, Graphic Designer, Fire Performer, and Artistic Director, and Instructor.

Parallel to his art career, he also has a demonstrated history as a Certified Business Administrator, ASQ-certified Quality Auditor, and Change Management Specialist. While working a variety of regulated manufacturing industries, Duskin’s achievements include planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management System programs, and Continuous Improvement Project Management.

The combination of his never-ending skills set along with his commitment to his personal core values and mission has amplified his ability to succeed as an artist.

His focus for achieving his mission is through primarily identifying as a Painter and Art Business Coach & Consultant.

In 2020, Duskin embraced his mid-career mission to create extraordinary artwork, quickly, by adopting the technique of speed-painting. He has created over 1000 paintings since 2020.

He enjoys producing a wide variety of subject matter, creating both representational and non-representational works of art. Whether painting abstract shapes, textures, and designs or faces, floral, and so on; one thing remains the same… his highly qualitative, easily distinguishable signature style.

Duskin’s main medium is oil-over-acrylic on canvas, and he prefers to create very large pieces, but always extends flexibility to meet contracted customer specifications.

Duskin has a deep appreciation and curiosity for the concept of “limitlessness”, and he is particularly intrigued by “variation" and the slightest ways internal and external influences can direct the final results. He has successfully completed several projects thanks to generous grant opportunities from Minnesota resources. His projects gravitate towards exploring these concepts of limitless by recreating the same subject matter over and over again, and he refers to this technical approach as “RSM” or Repetitive Subject Matter.

“Everything that currently exists was made up at some point. It is my duty to contribute to the growth of society and promote innovation. I do so by extracting visuals from an unknown realm, where they rest, patiently, waiting to be seen and interpreted.”

Duskin insists that everyone deserves to be surrounded by art due to its healing properties, ability to inspire, for the simple joy it brings, and its ability to evoke a moment.

“There is no room for underserving populations in the realm of art. Not in my world, at least. It’s each and every one of our forsaken rights to create it and/or have access to it.”

For this reason, he adapts his processes and use of materials to offers exceptional artwork at all price points. The foundation of his creativity and expression was built on the struggles barriers he faced while identifying as part of the Queer community, and his drive to market his art is strictly for the sake of offering opportunities to both underserved populations as well as to the most serious art collectors and everywhere in between.

His motto is "Transform. Express. Inspire." and no living creature should be exempt from the privilege of these life features.

Duskin is passionate about helping other Artists mature into their own artistic identities. He wishes success for all, and he oftentimes states that his only opponent is TIME, as he loves the challenge of setting a limited period to create extraordinary artwork. He also enjoys friendly, intimate, philosophical conversations with individuals. He is confident he can help all potential buyers/observers discover what type of Art Collector or Art Gifter they are. His mission is to use his art products and coaching services as a platform to spark wholesome journeys for anyone who is seeking meaning art experiences.

One approach Duskin uses to teach people their own confidence in creating or buying art is to instill the philosophy “Be curious, not judgmental.” Whether for the sake of personal growth, a hobby, or as a profession, he is sure that he can positively transform the most vulnerable creatives and buyers, aligning them with the mental, emotional, and physical ability to truly own their personal success.

Duskin Wayne was born by the name Dustin Wayne Lindell. He branded his artistic identity as such as a tribute in honor of a time when he realized he was living his dream as being an active artist and following through with his personal life mission. Duskin is an easy-going individual who loves to socialize and enjoys being asked questions about his business methodologies, creative pursuits, philosophical ideas, and even his personal life. He is proud of his natural ability to adapt to all sorts of personalities, loves inclusion, and is mindful that everyone has a story of their own.
